Euro 2008 is coming!

Soccer (Football) second largest event, UEFA European Football Championship (Euro 2008), will be held on 7 to 30 June. Just like FIFA WorldCup, it is held every 4 years. This year, it is co-hosted by Austria and Switzerland.

In order to watch the matches 'Live' on my cable TV, i need to pay addtional 50% for my sport channel charges during this month. The match will be playing between 12am to 5am Singapore time (based on 2 matches a day).

For this event, i have place my bet on both Portugal and Holland (Netherlands) to be the winner.

With Cristiano Ronaldo "Hot" on-form, winning the Champions League and Premier League with Manchester United. He can help Portugal to win the Euro (which Luis Figo failed 4 years ago).

I have been a Holland fan since the late 80s. They won Euro 88 with the likes of Marco Van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard and Ronald Koeman. Van Basten will be leading the team as the coach and hope to see him won the Euro as both the player and coach.

Stock up the tit-bits, kopi and get ready for EURO 2008. :)

Claypot Laksa with 油炸鬼（油条）

There is a claypot laksa store at Food Republic in VivoCity. The laksa will heat to boil before serving on a claypot. I decided to buy a 油炸鬼（油条） and dip with the laksa gravy.

The laksa is piping hot and quite spicy. So beware when eating. It was a nice experience eating 油炸鬼（油条） with laksa.

Late night with Champions League

It is four year in a row that the Champions League final was played with an English Club. But today's final is a all English final with Manchester United vs Chelsea.

The last time i watch Man U playing in the final, it was 1999 and the won by scoring two very late goal.

This year, they won again. They draw 1-1 after extra time and won 6-5 (by penalty shootout) after John Terry miss a good chance to win it for Chelsea.

Mummy, Happy Mother's day

It was Mother's day and it was my first time buying mummy flowers. It was also her first time receiving flowers. I order the flowers from FarEastFlora.com. The ordering was done online. But in order to have chinese messages with the flower, i have to submit via fax.

Mother likes the flower but ask me not to waste money on flower next time.
