Chilli noodles with good 排骨(Pork ribs)

There is a famous prawn noodle store in Beach Road (inside "Army" market - Golden Mile Food Centre). Have tried their "Chilli noodle" several years back. For people who like chilli, this one is a must try. Their chilli is nicely "blended" and it goes well with the noodles that comes with abit of prawns, pork ribs, tou pok (fried beancurd), slices of fish cake and part of hard boiled egg. There is not picture posted on the Chilli noodle, go down to see and taste it yourself.

Besides the Chilli noodle, i also want to recommend they Pork ribs prawn noodle (in soup). I can said that it is (so far) the best prawn noodle i ever ate. The soup may looks plain, but it is tasty. Their pork ribs are very delicious, the meat is tender and nicely seasoned.

Everyone should go try it. It is highly recommended :)

Ole.. Ole... Ole... Go Lion go..

Finally went for my first 'live' soccer match supporting "The Lions". It is the World cup qualifier 3rd round match (first time in singapore football history to reach 3rd round). Singapore was playing against Lebanon.

It is a quite empty stadium with only about ten thousand fans came to support the Lions. The match ended with the Lions beating Lebanon 2-0.
It is quite a nice experience for me and i am looking forward for next few home games against Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

Orange Lantern

Try the "famous" vietnamese restaurant in Harbour Front. They are claim to be authentic and got several good reviews from magazine and newspaper.

Tried the Vietnamese white coffee. The coffee is strong in taste.

The "Imperial" spring rolls are crispy. Quite nice.

Ipoh Hor Fun with Crayfish??

Ipoh Hor FunOn the corner of Hong Lim food centre, you will see a long queue in front of "Tuck Kee (Ipoh) Sah Ho Fun". I decided to try their famous crayfish ipoh hor fun.

Crayfish Hor FunI ordered the crayfish with chicken hor fun. Their crayfish can also goes with prawns.
It comes with 2 half of the crayfish and was quite big (compare to those you find in food court). The meat was also quite fresh (can be easily removed from the shell). The chicken used were not breast meat and with large portion. The gravy was thick and tasty too.
The price was really reasonable at $4.50. I recommended that everyone should try at least once at Hong Lim Food Centre, #02-41. It open from 11am to 3pm and Closed on Sunday & Public Holiday.
