Terminal 3 .... and nice toilet
While waiting to be check in to our plane. I found something interesting in the mens toilet. There are stickers (or etchings) of fly in the urinal. I remember reading about this several years back. Based on the "Fly-in-urinal" research, it was found that these etchings reduce spillage by 80%. Apparently it gives men something to think about and improves the aim. If a man sees a fly, he aims at it.
Besides Singapore, Schipol Airport in Amsterdam was the first few to have the "Fly-in-urinal".
So guys, the next time you uses the urinal in Terminal 3, remeber to aim at the "fly".

Warren Buffett - No 1 Billionaire
Warren Buffet, named the world riches man 2008 by Forbes with US$62 billion, make news today by investing US$5 billion in Goldman Sachs in trying to boost the confidence of the current financial market.Saw a very interesting statement by him in today's news report and decided to share it.
"It's nice to have a lot of money, but you know, you don't want to keep it around forever," "I prefer buying things. Otherwise, it's a little like saving sex for your old age."
So stop saving your money, start spending when you feel like it. Money is earn to be spend. (Warren buffett's idea, not mine) :)
I have also compiled some very interesting quote (below) by him on investments. Hope they can enlighten you before you start putting your money into Stocks and Shares.
- "Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked."
- "A public-opinion poll is no substitute for thought."
- "I never attempt to make money on the stock market. I buy on the assumption that they could close the market the next day and not reopen it for five years."
- "If a business does well, the stock eventually follows."
- "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently."
- "It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price."
- "Look at market fluctuations as your friend rather than your enemy; profit from folly rather than participate in it."
- "Only buy something that you'd be perfectly happy to hold if the market shut down for 10 years."
- "Our favorite holding period is forever."
- "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get."
- "Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks."
- "The investor of today does not profit from yesterday's growth."
- "Time is the friend of the wonderful company, the enemy of the mediocre."
- "We believe that according the name 'investors' to institutions that trade actively is like calling someone who repeatedly engages in one-night stands a 'romantic.'"
- "We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful."
- "When a management team with a reputation for brilliance tackles a business with a reputation for bad economics, it is the reputation of the business that remains intact."
- "Wide diversification is only required when investors do not understand what they are doing."
- "You do things when the opportunities come along. I've had periods in my life when I've had a bundle of ideas come along, and I've had long dry spells. If I get an idea next week, I'll do something. If not, I won't do a damn thing."
- "You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many things wrong."

Bite by small fishes (Fish Spa)
Been to Genting Highland with my parents for a short getaway. Saw some fish spa available and decided to give a try. Initially found it tickling but as you get used to the feeling, it is quite OK to leave your feet there for several minutes. Not sure is it really the fish or is it psychologically, i find my feet gets smoother.
The Fish doctor in the fish spa, also known as Garra Rufa, is a tiny toothless Turkish spa fish, of the Garra species, naturally nibbling away those pesky dead skin that makes your skin dull and dead, leaving you with silky smooth hands and feet that look great from any direction. Many people also believe that the Doctor Fish therapy (Fish Spa) can cure problems like psoriasis, a disease that causes red, scaly patches to appear on the skin. Hot spring spas in Turkey with such fish have been running for more than 100 years and some people with skin problems swear by the treatment. With psoriasis, the fish lick away the plaque which causes red patches and release a small quantity of dithranol, an enzyme which results in skin rejuvenation.
Their life Span is about 5 to 7 years and cost about S$6 each if you interested to setup one fish spa at home.

McGriddles finally...
Finally got to taste McGriddles. Never had a chance visit Mcdonald's for their breakfast, but today is one of my buddy's wedding day. So i decided to meet up with the rest of the "brothers" in Mcdonald's for breakfast.Overall, it is not as bad as what many people claims. But i will not recommend either. The "infused" pancake taste like pancake soaked in syrup overnight. Too soft to goes with the meat patty.
If you are wondering what is a Griddle? It is a piece of cooking equipment that is made of stone or brick slab and is used over open fire or on to a stove. It is oftenly used to cook pancakes.

House of Seafood @180 (螃蟹之家)
They chose the newly open Seafood store near our work place, House of Seafood @180 (螃蟹之家). It is located at 180 Yio Chu Kang Road. Rumours claims that one of their chef was from Still Road famous crab store.
They ordered several dishes such as garlic chicken and mee goreng. But the main focus were on the pepper, chilli and butter crabs.
The pepper crab was good but the chilli and butter ones were abit disappointing.

Nice Indo food from Java Kitchen.
I order a Ayam Cobek, Soto Ayam and Nasi Kuning with Ayam Rendang (picture clockwise below from left). The Ayam Cobek is a fried kampong chicken with a marinated tofu and tempe. The Ayam Soto is a soup that cooked with 15 spices and chicken. Nasi Kuning with Ayam Redang comes with "yellow" rice, Redang chicken drumstick, half hard-boiled egg and a begedil(potato bite).
The overall experience was good. The food were above avarage and the price were reasonable.
