Nice Indo food from Java Kitchen.

Java Kitchen in Tanjong Katong RdHaving tried Sanur and House of Sudanese Indonesian restaurant, Java Kitchen is a totally new experience. It is more of a "fast food" concept where you order the food from the counter. There are 3 outlets (from what i know) in Singapore. One in Vivo City (inside Food Republic), another in Lucky Plaza and one along Tanjong Katong Road (which i visited).

I order a Ayam Cobek, Soto Ayam and Nasi Kuning with Ayam Rendang (picture clockwise below from left). The Ayam Cobek is a fried kampong chicken with a marinated tofu and tempe. The Ayam Soto is a soup that cooked with 15 spices and chicken. Nasi Kuning with Ayam Redang comes with "yellow" rice, Redang chicken drumstick, half hard-boiled egg and a begedil(potato bite).

The overall experience was good. The food were above avarage and the price were reasonable.
